Thanks to readers that still check back occassionally!! I am hoping to return back, but also thinking about moving the site over, as did many others do, to another host... I am still figuring this out and any help from a "tech wiz" is greatly appreciated! haha.... As I scan many of my favorite blogs, I find almost every mix of every song, so I think my main focus will be on my "AC Beats Radio Edits" and occasional request! LOL Let's hope for good luck and hope to hear from all of you soon! And did I mention that this summer has been off the chain here in Atlantic City! P.S. for all the girls (and gays) I am taking friends to the Britney Circus show Sunday! I'm sure it will prove interesting! LOL

Back then I labeled the mixes wrong and only posted two mixes... So now to redeem myself, I ripped all mixes from the singe at 320kbps and even threw in my edit of the Dub (that is in the player!) This CD is a little cheezy and a lotta Euro! But to be fair it was produced around the same time Euro acts were big (La Bouche, Fun Factory, Real McCoy) and it comes from Canada (the fake America)! LOL It was released first as DJ Kris Kringle: The Kris Mix and then re-released as DJ Kris Kringle's Holiday Party Favorites. The funny thing is, there is no DJ Kris Kringle... it's studio singers (The CCC Singers)... Anyway kids seam to like it...

Warning: I am just letting you know this now... I made this edit when i was a kid on my 1st computer (aww, my Compaq with windows 98 and the 1st ever cd burner!) and have managed to salvage it from the hardrive... so It is only 128kbps. I didn't bother to recode because that doesn't do anything but lessen the quality... So please don't ask for a 320 version... I think the sound is OK for you Ipod.. but for club or DJ play is questionable???

So some of you many have noticed... I have been including "mixshow edits"... which (incase you don't know) are edits that usually include all the vocals but are short than the club mix and longer than a radio edit.. The general rule of thumb is like this: Over 7 mins= Club Mix, 5 to 7 mins= mixshow, upto 4:30= radio edit. I know it sounds like a F'ing science equation but that fancy broadcasting schools have to charge for something! LOL

First... for those of you who actually tried to read that letter above... Hehe, it's hogwash... I found it on the internet. So now to my "Letter from the Editor" moment. I want to thank each and every one of you that have visited my blog since it's opening... I appreciate every email and message in the chat box. Also, I like to apologize for not posting. I have recently had many circumstances and issues both personal and professional I have been working on, which has pushed Atlantic City Beats to the back of the stack! While many of you could care less (and just want free music, LOL) I thought you guys deserved some explaination. I also have been DJing much more in the summer time and also took on a residency Saturday nights. Any anyone who DJ's a regular gig knows it's much more than showing up and playing a few songs. It's preparation of gathering music, along with the anxiety of keeping those asses shaking on the floor! LOL So the long drawn out point to this message, is to say, that I was carefully thinking of closing this blog. After almost two hectic weeks, I have decided (for now) to keep it open and to post whenever I can. This might sound a little selfish but, I created AC Beats as a hobby and it will remain one. So if you make a request or send a message, please don't feel I am ignoring you or just not responding. While, the flip side is, I will most likely not "apologize" or regret not posting on a regular basis... If any of this doesn't seem fair to any readers, I'm sure there is a blog out there somewhere who has the song your looking for... Just not an AC Beats edit!!! haha Suckas!!
