Every freestyle fan better agree that George LaMond is one of the best! His song "Without You" appeared his first CD on Columbia Records... Then through battles of the record companies, it was released as a single almost 9 years later on Tommy Boy's Timber Records. Included were 10 mixes... Here are some of my favorites... A side note: Columbia Records put out a George LaMond CD called "Where Does That Leave You" in 2004, which is basically a greatest hits... trying to take away sales of the George's "The Hits & More" on Robbins Ent. back in 1994. I was so confused I just had to buy them all! LOL
This song has been in my player for some time... Daughtry already has a sceond single out... I didn't post it because I thought everyone was over Chris & played out too much... This Cynthia single "If I Had The Chance" was released on Tommy Boy's Timber Records along with the single "Like A Star"... After the two singles Cynthia put out a full length album on Robbins Ent. a year later called "Thinking About You" (with those two songs) Here are two radio edits of "If I Had The Chance". I like the song, but hate the photo! (The album photo is much hotter!)

Mariah Carey's "Heartbreaker" was huge on MTV and radio in it's original version... but the club mixes where hardly ever played on dance radio because of there length. My favorite, the "Junior Vasquez Club Mix" clocks in at 10:18 and has a downtempo break smack in the middle going into "If You Should Ever Be Lonely"... So here is the Radio Edit of the Junior mix. It has all the vocals just leaves out the medley of "..Should Ever Be Lonely". This radio edit is exclusive to AC Beats and only posted here. You won't find it anywhere else (unless they steal it!) LOL... I don't mind sharing, that is why I'm posting it, but credit and thanks would be nice. My arms are getting tired from patting myself on the back!! LOL
Well I really thought these sisters were done... They had to follow up that super hit "Move Ya Body". There new song "Clothes Off" may not be as huge but I am posting it because it has huge freestyle flava! Of course I could do without Daytona's raps and shout outs but any freestyle fan will recongnize this beat! Maybe freestyle is making it's way back into the mainstream!
Ciara's song "Do It" is a throw back to Salt-N-Pepa's "Push It"... One listen and it's obvious. With that aside, I will say I have liked all her singles, but I found this one a little repeaditive. Probably because Will.i.am has his hands all in it... His throw back beats maybe getting "old". It's still fun to listen to... You will remember back in the day when "Push It" was all over the radio!
Come To My Window. OKAY... before anyone even thinks I went and bumped my head, I'd like to say that this was a request!!! (you can stop rolling your eyes now. LOL)... Kat DeLuna is hot on the heels of Ciara & Rihanna! Along with the simularities to the other girls, Kat's song is just as catchy.... I was hooked on the first listen! It's a great summer hit.
Enrique has been away for a bit... Although he did a few tour dates last year for MTV Tr3s, stopping in Atlantic City at the Borgata. He has a new album coming out soon, with this first single "Do You Know (Ping Pong Song)". I'm sure when you listen to it you'll know why the subtitle is Ping Pong Song. 
Haven't heard anything else from these girls except this single "Forget You". It has top 40 pop appeal but I won't judge them off of one single! LOL. Anyone like these "gurlz" or what???

With Love was my very first post ever, so I figured I'll add in a remix... While there are tons of club mixes, I couldn't resist the Slim Thug thing. Actually, over looking the rap, the song has a whole new feel but keeps the electro touch of the original...

The Underdog Project had some success with their single "Summer Jam". That single was released about 3 years in a row with different mixes. There were a few other good singles off the album "It Doesn't Matter"... "Tonight" is one of them. Most the TUD's originals are freestyle but they always include mixes for the clubs...

Who remembers this song! They are two twin sisters, Midi & Maxi, and their friend Efti... the lyrics are pretty silly but the whole song is a fun flashback. Along with radio play this song was in the movie Untamed Heart. But when viewers went to buy the movie soundtrack to find out "what was that song on the jukebox" it wasn't there. Pretty shitty that the best song of the movie isn't even on the soundtrack!!! A lot of people that didn't know the artist, couldn't find this song because they would search the name and the song from Cops always came up. Midi Maxi & Efti were produced by the men behind Army Of Lovers, and had another slight hit with "Ragga Steady".
Alright, so I know this is my second Hilary Duff post, but this song has so much freestyle flavor that it's making me dig the whole album. The beat is practically identical to Debbie Deb's "When I Hear Music". Did Hilary give up her "girl guitar tunes" or is her manager trying to sell more records??? What do you guys think of her new tune??
Well first, thanks to Doris for checking out my blog and making a request!!! Frankie J's "More Than Words" was added to his album "The One" after it's original release. So if you are a fan and bought it when it came out (like I did) it is not on there. This is how I believe the record companies try to make money by making you re-purchase a cd as a "Deluxe Edition" also attempting to keep it on the charts longer. Just as, this week Beyonce's B-Day CD is re-released as a double disc with spanish version and remixes. Enough complaints. Here is the Mynt Electro Radio Edit of "More Than Words" It has a real freestyle flavor to it... Reminds me of the days when George LaMond & Johnny O where on the radio.
OK, if you know where this song is from, then you've watched too much Univision. And you ain't right for that! I have no explaination of this song... And I ain't right for posting it.
